Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
This Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is a creamy, tangy, fridge-friendly version of classic restaurant-style ranch. Made with mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried herbs, garlic, onion, dill, and black pepper, it has the familiar ranch flavor people expect, but with a fresher, more balanced homemade taste. The dried herbs make it reliable and pantry-friendly, while a short chill gives them time to soften and bloom into the creamy base.

Instructions
Combine the creamy base
In a medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
Add the herbs and seasonings
Stir in the dried parsley, dried minced onion, dried chives, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Adjust the consistency
Taste and adjust with more salt or pepper as needed. For a thinner dressing, whisk in more buttermilk 1 tablespoon at a time.
Chill the dressing
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the dried herbs soften and the flavors meld.
